[S5E23] Everybody Says Don't

He confronts them, and Lola says she's sorry for ruining his business deal but that their vendetta against Diana was personal. Chuck replies that they have no idea how personal and tells them, including Serena, that Bart is still alive. At the Waldorf's, Blair has Dorota lay out a spread of Italian food for the rep. While setting up, she gets a text from Serena saying Chuck is in trouble. Thinking fast, she makes up an excuse that they need gelato and rushes off to go get it but promises to be back in time. Back at The Empire, Nate and Serena ask why Bart never made any attempt to contact anyone. Chuck explains that it's too risky and he was so close to finding everything out when Lola ruined the plan. He worries that he needs to come up with a new plan and fast when Blair arrives. She announces that he doesn't need a new plan, just new girls to be waiting. She orders Nate to keep Diana busy so she doesn't cancel the appointment and says they all need to move quickly as she only has an hour. At The Spectator, Nate overhears Diana on the phone with Bart telling him they're leaving town sooner than schedule together. He texts Chuck a warning, who tells him to stall her. Meanwhile, Lola arrives at The Empire with Ivy and announces they can pass as twins. Annoyed, Serena says that they don't need Ivy and she can play Lola's twin. However, Blair has a different acting role in mind for Serena: to play Blair during her meeting with the rep from Dan's program.

Meanwhile, Hyde and Hook engage in a struggle, and the former seems to have the upper hand. Hook is forced away from him while Hyde remains on the floor, clutching his throat, shocked to still be alive. David rushes over to help him to his feet. Snow makes her way over to the orderly's corpse. Jekyll reminds the heroes that he told them to run. David points out he risked everything to save them, and that means they've got to do the same. "To be clear, I was fine running," Zelena comments, at which point Hyde says that he's now going to kill them all. Snow sneaks up behind him with Poole's weapon in tow, then uses it to zap Hyde into unconsciousness. Jekyll tells her to leave it because it's of no use to them now. He grabs the syringe and the serum from the table, corking the test tube full of the red liquid as he adds that they don't want to still be there when Hyde wakes up. As such, the doctor begins to rush out of his apartment, and presumably, his four rescuers proceed to do the same.

Matt makes his way to the master bedroom, where Flynn's attack had taken place years earlier, and finds him holding Ellie in front of him and telling him to drop his gun. The words "Hello there" in Flynn's very voice next provokes Matt's memories of the attack into returning to the forefront of his mind. Morgan advises against it, but Matt eventually obliges to Flynn's demands when Flynn begins choking Ellie. He then forces Matt to his knees and makes him admit that Flynn is responsible for making him who he is. Overcome by the trauma of his parents' murders, a powerless Matt asks Morgan to promise him that Kristin and Ellie will be safe. Flynn, clearly enjoying the situation, makes Morgan promise Matt before shooting Matt in the chest execution-style. Immediately afterward, he pulls a sobbing Ellie away from Kristin, mockingly consoling the girl as he does so. When Morgan and Kristin yell at him, Flynn sniffs Ellie's hair and says, "I usually don't take much to kids, but this one's just... special." Morgan angrily tells Flynn that they will find him, to which he replies as he departs with Ellie, "Is that another promise?"

Billy Flynn: See, Ellie? We are a team. You just decided to let that man live. See, the question isn't why do I kill people. The question is why I don't kill everybody. I decide who dies, but mostly, I decide who lives. I'm like... God. And now you are too.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders continue to confront Diamond Tiara about quitting, and are again shot down. Diamond Tiara says she doesn't care about other ponies' feelings. The Cutie Mark Crusaders try to quit again, only to be confronted with embarrassing photos taken by Featherweight, from when they were working on their first stories, that Diamond Tiara threatens to print instead if they don't come up with a story.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air might be a comedy, but make no mistake, the series is also a real tear-jerker. Throughout the show's six-season run, Will Smith and the Banks squad tackle serious issues such as grief, racism, and drug use. Who can forget when Uncle Phil and Will develop a new level of respect for each other in the very first episode? Or when Carlton buys a gun after Will saves him from being shot? And, of course, we all remember Will's emotional breakdown when his father comes back into his life only to leave again. So many heart-rending moments have stuck with us over the past 30 years, and we're revisiting some of the most memorable. Get your box of tissues ready.\n\n Related:\n\n \n \n \n \n\n 16 Quotes From The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air That Are Just as Funny 30 Years Later\n \n \n","id":47982786,"type":"gallery","photo_source":"Image Source: Everett Collection","permalink":"https:\/\/\/entertainment\/the-fresh-prince-of-bel-air-most-emotional-moments-47982786","canonical":"https:\/\/\/entertainment\/the-fresh-prince-of-bel-air-most-emotional-moments-47982786","share_text":"8 Moments From The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air That Emotionally Wrecked Us","use_tall_image":false,"omit_from_countdown":false,"caption_num":false,"slide_tags":"The Fresh Prince Of Bel-AirNostalgiaTV","is_cover":true},"embed_html":"","share_image":"https:\/\/\/files\/thumbor\/4dWn-78Gh6OcPq_Y9U2LQciAVzA\/fit-in\/2048xorig\/filters:format_auto-!!-:strip_icc-!!-\/2020\/11\/19\/908\/n\/1922283\/f396b5a17a061d19_6._FP_Piano\/i\/When-Will-Uncle-Phil-See-Each-Other-in-Different-Light.gif","title":"When Will and Uncle Phil See Each Other in a Different Light","intro_text":false,"body":"When it wrecked us: Season one, episode one (\"Pilot\")\nWhy it wrecked us: Will and Uncle Phil get off on the wrong foot from the get-go.
