The most trusted timepiece brand for analog and digital watches.Casio Baby G and Casio G-Shock watches are a timepiece brand for men and women. Authentic water resistant analog and digital watches perfect for an active lifestyle and any occasion gifts. SVS Fine Jewelry is an authorized retailer of G Shock and Baby G watches in Long Island, NY.

For starters, Japan is the birthplace of Casio and the cornerstone of quality watches. Not only is the quality of craftsmanship put into Japanese watches remarkable, but purchasing your Baby-G directly from its homeland gives you access to better deals and Japan-exclusive watch models.

Casio BABY-G has teamed up with world renowned choreographer, dancer, singer, director & actress Parris Goebel to unveiled an all new, limited edition collaboration BA110 timepiece. Parris has loved Baby-G watches since she was a little girl, they are classic, timeless & great quality watches . The model & design has been inspired by her favourite colour pink/while the meaning behind the design is to be uplifting while staying true to her "Time to be a BO$$" attitude!

Apart from the size and bulkiness of the watch frame and strap, most Baby-G and G-Shock watches look the same. Some models including the original DW-520 (and its recreation the BGD-500 series) and the BA-110 series are virtually identical to certain G-Shock lines, making them perfect as his-and-hers couple watch options. This gives the Baby-G a confident, bold look no matter what model you opt for.

Despite being significantly smaller and lighter than their full-size G-SHOCK counterparts, BABY-G watches are not actually all that small of timepieces, and the Sailor Moon BA-110XSM-2A features a shock-resistant resin case that measures 43.4mm wide by 46.3mm lug-to-lug and 15.8mm thick. The bezel and strap are constructed from a semi-transparent dark blue resin that is intended to resemble the color of the night sky, while the strap itself is decorated with stars, moons, hearts, and other Sailor Moon inspired designs that are printed in red, blue, and yellow, which collectively create an overall aesthetic that offers an unmistakable resemblance to the famous Japanese anime franchise.

Baby-Gs are smaller than G-shocks and come with plenty of feminine styles and models available. You can find a baby-G to fit any outfit, while you're usually limited to wearing black with one of the regular G-Shock models. You can find them in red, green, white, purple, pink, silver, black, blue etc.

Compared to G-Shocks, the Baby-G watches are slightly pricier with the cheapest ones retailing around $55, while a DW9052 G-Shock can be had for around $40. Still, the difference in price is not significant. Both G-Shocks and Baby-Gs give you a great bang for the buck, as they will last for years.

Just in time for Spring, the new series arrives in a variety of simple, yet sleek colorways, including the all-black BGD565-1, the pale pink BGD565-4, the all-white BGD565-7, and the 90's-inpsired translucent case and band of the BGD565S-7. These latest watches arrive in a slimmer silhouette, down from 12.5mm of the previous models to 11.3mm for these, offering a more compact, lightweight option.

The BGD565-1, BGD565-4, and BGD565-7 will retail for $79 each, with the BGD565S-7 retailing for $89. The new designs will be available for purchase starting this April at select jewelers,, and the G-SHOCK Soho store. For more information about the Baby-G brand, visit

The brand exemplifies the meeting of fashion and function for the vibrant, active woman with watches that are stylish, bold, tough and chic. Young people such as myself were convinced that most cool things were born in Japan. Something affordable that looked like it came from the future and offered a range of standard features in addition to telling the time was easy to love. That and G-Shock watches could really take a beating. Even today, there are few watches other than a G-Shock that I would subject to actual torture and expect them to come out OK.

Casio later found that owners wanted color. The original G-Shock watches to my understanding were mostly black in tone. At some point the colored plastic floodgates opened and a rainbow of G-Shock models started showing up. Anyone with a hip fashion sense was going to have one. Casio took proactive measures and also quickly started working with people like influential musicians to wear their watches. Examples include Eminem, Lady Gaga, and now Ke$ha (Kesha).

Casio intercepted Kesha early on in her career. She is popular among younger woman and I think her connection with Casio is a benefit to the entire watch industry. It is about getting people to wear and discover the virtues of watches. These days even parent might not think to get their kids a watch. By seeing hip looking timepieces on their idols, young people will be drawn to purchase and adopt these products into their lives. Once you wear a watch for long enough you tend to want to continue doing so. When these girls become women they will likely continue to have a few Casio pieces in their lives and also include more professional pieces into their collection. In this case, getting them while they are young is a good thing. My thanks to Casio for including me in this event, I continue to find what you do

These funky colourful seemingly indestructible watches come in two designs. The white Baby-G watch features orange and blue paint inked across it, while the black watch has a rather fetching blue and green splatter

These Splatter pattern series watches will be on sale in Japan in May this year and will cost 18,500 yen (135 / $169). There is no word on a release for these in the West just yet, but they probably won't be too difficult to import if you are so inclined.

I kinda want one of these. I don't even use watches anymore - considering how phones just have that function built into them. Watches are mostly just a fashion accessory now. But why not get one that looks this nice? Even if it is just to display.

The Baby-g-shock Heart Style line was built for looks and function. In addition to being shock-resistant, the watch is also water-resistant up to 100 meters, so whether you leave it on when you jump in the pool, or accidentally drop it in the ocean, it will function flawlessly. This baby g watch is bundled with features perfectly adapted for both the active women and tech-savvy teenagers who want to wear their watch wherever they go or whatever activities they do. The baby G by far the best looking female sports watch around, and the most diverse. They include features like 40 cities world time with up to 27 time zones, telememo capacity, cool day counter, chronograph capabilities and an electro-luminescent (EL) backlight for viewing in low light conditions. Not to forget the regular time keeping features that come standard to all Casio baby-g watches ranging from alarm feature, day, date and alarm and the cute characters that are also displayed.

Today, Baby-G's big selling point is nostalgia, something the company is totally aware of. As "a brand that is rooted in '90s nostalgia but with fresh bold styles," Baby-G's campaign manager Hannah Rowe told HungerTV, Baby-G is aiming to harness the women who wore the watches as tweens. She added:

The crazy thing: Baby-G watches didn't actually really go anywhere. Introduced by Casio in 1994, Baby-G watches peaked around the late '90s. In 1998, when Bloomberg BusinessWeek covered the watch phenomenon, over 19 million G-Shock watches had been sold (including Baby-Gs) and parent company Casio had just recorded $3.7 billion in sales. And for American middle schoolers? They were all the rage. 041b061a72
