In Java Edition, Minecraft Worlds are saved in the .minecraft\saves folder. When you open this folder, you will find that each Minecraft World has a separate folder. In addition to worlds, the .minecraft folder contains other files, including .jar files, sounds, music, personal options, resource packs, and more.

In Bedrock Edition, each Minecraft World has its own separate folder and is located at games/com.mojang/minecraftworlds on Windows 11/10. Chunks files for all dimensions are located in the db1 folder.

Your saved Minecraft games are stored in the AppData folder on Windows 10/11. It is usually located in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft. Here's how to access the Minecraft saved game folder on Windows 10/11:

Your saved game folder is located in the Library/Application Support directory inside your user folder on Mac. It is usually located in /Users//Library/Application Support/minecraft. You can copy and paste /Library/Application Support/minecraft into the Spotlight search window and press the Enter key to aceess the folder.

I checked the web and it seems that since iOS 8.3 all the 3rd party file explorer apps that might have allowed me to access and backup the "worlds" files on the iPad can no longer do this. Is there any way to back up these files in iOS8.3?

You can then click "play", and if you get a warning in a dialogue box, click "play anyway". While you should follow the official instructions on how to install Optifine in Pojav Launcher, you may come across difficulties when trying to copy files to the /sdcard/Android/data/net.kdt.pojavlaunch[.debug]/files/.minecraft folder thanks to Android 11's Scoped Storage changes. You can use the internal Android file explorer or a computer to copy files into it, and you'll need to modify different files in it depending on what you're configuring. Installing the custom resource pack for version 1.18 will require navigating to this folder, and so will installing certain mods for your game. 041b061a72
